The shelf is a composite of aluminum, high-density fiberboard (HDF), and plywood, pressed together with a viscoelastic adhesive. This unique multi-density construction offers excellent resonance damping and isolation properties, ensuring a clean and clear audio output.

The X-shaped frame, running beneath the shelves on their diagonals, provides a connection with the main legs without using the main shelf for structural purposes. In between the shelf and x-frame a dampening material can be found. This design approach contributes to the superior audio performance by minimizing vibrations and resonance.
